i have a 97 sebring coupe lxi. i live in oklahoma and my car makes a loud humming noise. it seems to be coming from the rear and goes away completely when i turn left. what could this be?

If it gets louder on a right turn I would suspect a bad wheel bearing on the left rear side. Basically you are shifting the weight from one side to the other and that will change the noise. Usually a wheel bearing is most obvious at speeds over 25 mph or so and at highway speeds you can hear a difference by just shifting lanes.
