2003 AUDI A4 WIPER MOTOR
I have a 2003 Audi A4 Quattro and the wiper motor stopped working. I was told by my mechanic that it takes 2 1/2 hours to replace the motor. I've replaced the wiper motor in domestic cars and want to do it myself. What is involved in replacing the wiper motor in the Audi? Thanks.

RE: 2003 AUDI A4 WIPER MOTOR
Alldata says it pays 1.6 hours. If you look at it and take your time, I am sure you can do it. Here is a precaution::::
Front Windshield Wiper and Washer System, Servicing

CAUTION: Before beginning repairs on the electrical system:

Obtain the anti-theft radio security code.
Switch the ignition off.
Disconnect the battery Ground (GND) strap.
On vehicles equipped with Audi Telematics by OnStar, switch-off the emergency (backup) battery for the Telematic/Telephone Control Module prior to disconnecting vehicle battery.
After reconnecting vehicle battery, re-code and check operation of anti-theft radio. Also check operation of clock and power windows.
After reconnecting vehicle battery on vehicles equipped with Audi Telematics by OnStar, switch-on the emergency (backup) battery for the Telematic/Telephone Control Module.
Disconnect battery Ground strap with ignition switched off.
NOTE: Steps after re-connecting voltage supply.

Being way2old is why I need help from younger minds.
