1989 Jeep Cherokee , How to test out Engine Speed Sensor
My 1989 Jeep will not start on occasions, usually when it’s hot. If I wait it will then start. There is fuel pressure but no spark. I have come down to the Ignition Control Module, Electrical Control Module or the Engine Speed Sensor.
My Auto Manual is only good for toilet paper. Any ideas on how to test this out?

I would suspect a crank/engine speed sensor. They also had soem problems with the connection were the sensor connected to the harness.
