Big Electrical Problems
Hey guys, I have a question. I just bought a 2009 Elantra off an auction, haven't owned an Elantra but pretty handy with cars. The car looks to be in great shape but has a baffling array of electrical not working. The power steering assist is out(learned it is electrical), the blower motor is out, power windows are out, lot of lights on in the dash.

On the other hand not a total outage, car starts and runs fine although it is to be seen if the alternator is charging the battery but has driven ok since then. Dome lights, head lights, signals, etc are all good.

Anyway, I am used to one system going out and troubleshooting that wiring/fuse etc but this seems like a bigger component. I did some googling and couldn't come up with an idea so here I am. Any ideas?

RE: Big Electrical Problems
Looks like the problem is a 150am fusible link in the fusebox. Hope it helps someone!

RE: Big Electrical Problems
Wiring diagram might be helpful in tracing out what's connected to that 150 amp fuse link. Any chance the car as been in a major accident or flood waters?
