2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse No Start/No Spark
Hey guys, having some issues with this car here, I've worked on cars for 10+ years and have ASE certs in a few ares...

2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT
3.0L V6 24 valve SOHC engine (i think its SOHC... never cared to check)

No start, it cranks fine, seems like its about to start with a few puff puffs but I think that's actually just a few detonations happening while cranking.. I pulled the front 3 wires (the back three are under the upper intake plenum so I haven't taken it off yet..) and tested, got no spark at all. So I pulled the cap/rotor and replaced, they were VERY corroded/worn so I figured that was it.. The initial problem seemed to happen more often when it was wet out so I went straight to dist and saw that.. But to no avail. I still have no spark on the front three cylinders.

I can't pull the coil to test it itself because it's build into the distributor and I don't wanna pull all that and/or replace it just yet.

I'm gonna test the connecter for power/ground signal and all that shit when i get my meter back later today. My main issue is that I have no wiring diagram for the coil so idk what wire is what. If anyone has/can get this i'de be very grateful..

Other than that, any general suggestions as to what to test? I read the codes a while back no CPS or anything but i'm going to get them read again when i get my code reader as well.. So, any suggestions would be very helpful. Let me know if you need more info.

Thank you very much!

PS. This problem is intermittent. Sometime the car would work fine, misfire here and there and a bit of a rough idle but this is due to bad gas.. Car sat for about a year, flushed has tank and got new gas, ran fuel system cleaner..
The no start would happen on wet days as far as I can tell, it's only happened a couple times.. That's why I expected distributor cap and rotor.. I live in central Florida so it is pretty we around here
