05 chevy trailblazer ext 4.2l front pass tire
When changing a flat tire yesterday I noticed that the tire moves in and out. I saw that the upper control arm moves alot. Gonna replace the arm but is there anything else I need to look at. Would it be wise to replace the ball joints while im in there. Do I need to replace the lower control arm.

If you have one worn part on a front end it would be wise to look over the other steering and suspension parts. If you can buy a complete control arm with ball joints and bushings already installed that may be the way to go.

I have looked up the control arm and it doesnt come with a ball joint. The lower control arm does come witha ball joint in it. Is it recommended to replace both control arms on one side.

The control arm itself is not a wear item and only needs replacement if damaged... or if for some reason you can't get the old BJ and bushings out for replacement.
