RE: Wiring question
Wow, you need a few more problems all at once. Good luck with that.

RE: Wiring question
You're telling me. Its an Aurora and they're known for poor water pump designs. Ive cleaned or replaced almost the entire cooling system. So my new water pump is also inadequate or my heater core is the problem.

So because of which i havn't touched the chevy in a few weeks.

RE: Wiring question
The only thing poor about that water pump (provided it's a decent brand) is the location on the engine and the fact that most of these vehicles are prone to air in the cooling system, which always seems to wind up causing heater deficiencies. I mention a "decent brand" only because certain economy replacements tend to fail earlier. They will all flow enough to make everything work correctly if the system is air free, which means proper purging on refill and making sure the hot water valve functions. IOW, if the system was all funky internally the valve may be rotten or stuck. This can be checked with a garden hose flowing through the heater core and flushing in both directions. When you are satisfied the flow is good and clean, install the lower of the heater hoses first, then refill the system with coolant. When coolant starts to flow out the top connection then quickly connect that hose.

Back to checking the flow... if it doesn't flow well then check the flow again with the valve removed to make sure the core is clear. If the valve is suspect then replace it. They are not all that expensive.

RE: Wiring question
So did you ever get back to the 91? Curious as to how you are coming with it.
