Thats what I was afraid of. Well guess I will be ordering a reman unit soon and checking around to see what the evac and recharge is going to cost me. Thanks for the help Rupe I appreciate you taking the time.

You should also look into a "receiver drier" which keeps the system clean and dry internally. (think of it as the "oil filter" for the system) It's one of those items that doesn't seem to do much but if things crap out again too soon you'll be kicking yourself in the pants for not changing it.
