1992 Toyota Corolla
Im having engine noise I think its Lifters because its DOHC and its coming from top end I already pulled valve cover off and looked and tried to adjust cam bolts and still knocking and it gets louder when I rev moter I just need to know how I change the lifter or could it be something else please help

Changing the lifters is a pretty good job. The timing belt and cams have to come off. See the picture below. I would recommend changing the oil and adding a 1/2 qt of ATF to the oil. ATF is high in detergent and it will clean any gum in the lifters if one or more are stuck. It will take 500 - 1000 miles to work if it does. I would try that first.
