'04 stratus ignition problem

My mom has a 2004 stratus, automatic, 2.4 engine. She was sitting at a red light and the car just died. Did'nt chug or cut in and out, just shut down suddenly.

The engine will turn over but does not start. I checked the valve on the fuel rail and it has fuel. Took off the timing cover and the belt is fine. So next I pulled a spark plug and checked it for spark...nothing. Checked another one and no spark there either.

I can't get a repair manual on this vehicle, so I was wondering if you could help me with the proper procedure to check the coil on this vehicle, and what to proceed with next if the coil is ok. Sure do appreciate any help you can give me on this. Thought about possibly the ignition module, but can't locate it...does this vehicle have an ignition module?
