Has anyone replaced the rear brake lind that is above the gas tank? I have a 2000dodge caravan.

RE: brake line replacement
I have changed them on slightly older ones, around '96. I would guess that they are quite similar. What is your question?

RE: brake line replacement
Having done a few of these myself I would guess the question is how to get a new line past the tank easily. Just slip a straight line through the small gap and bend carefully as you go leaving part of the old line in place. Use zip ties where necessary and a piece of rubber tubing to prevent chaffing.

What I do is use 2 long lines. Start one on the rear and one on the front. Where they meet do a proper flare and join them with a flare union out in the open where it's easy to work on. DO NOT use compression fittings! Secure the front section of the line to the original clips where possible.
