RE: 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokke Evaporator Drain
The drain is in the bottom of the A/C case about where the pasenger's feet would be if they stretched out. On some vehicles you can see it from inside (easy) and on others you will need to crawl under the car and look for it low on the firewall. Even if it's plugged up (and backing up on the floor) it will be a little wet so not too hard to find. It looks like a small rubber hose going nowhere and some have the end pinched off. Just poke it with a coat hanger or use a shop vac to clear it. If you don't have room for the shop vac hose you can rig up an extension with some duct tape and a piece of heater hose.

Drill a 1/4 inch hole in the center of the drain tube housing as shown. Clear the drain tube with a wire or suitable tool by inserting it through the hole and into the drain tube.
Insert plug, P/N5255217 into the 1/4 inch hole drilled previously.
Verify that the drain is clear by operating the system in the A/C mode and observing that water is draining
