Door Pins
Hi I got a 95 plymoth grand voyager the door pins in it are bad both fornt doors are tied shut i know how to fix it but when i went to schucks to get the new pins they gave me door bushings instead per there computers.... my question is do i need the new pins or are the bushings what i need for the repair?

That depends on how worn the pins are and if they have the one-way barbs that tend to break on removal. As a rule I usually replace the hinge pins along with new bushings.

ok took door off bushing that i was given only had 2 of the right bushings in it. it really sucked. did find out passenger side door dont need new pins. one of the pins broke upon trying to reinstall. so had to retie the door shut went and got new pins and am going to do it on sat.Sad
