1999 BMW Z3
My BMW battery is dead and I can't get the hood release to pop the hood?
any suggestions I am afraid if I pull lever to hard I will break it and I can't find any other release up front anywhere.th

Try having a helper bounce down on the front of the hood while you pull the release. The way it usually works best is for you to hold some tension on the release while your helper places both hands on the center, front of the hood. The hood will usually pop loose as the weight hits it.

Lets see first does it turn over? If so is it turning fast enough to start? Check the battery. Is it turning fast but not catching then check for spark first then fuel.
