1998 BMW328ic control arm replacement
I need to replace my front left control arm on my 1998 BMW 328ic it has 145000 miles. I hit a pothole and bent the drivers side front control arm. I would like some info on what it takes to replace it. I ordered a used control arm and new bushings. Any info would be greatly appreciated

RE: 1998 BMW328ic control arm replacement
That should be fairly straight forward except for the fact that it's a 13 year old car and some of the hardware may be rusty.

I would be concerned that the steering knuckle may also be bent, which may be part of the strut assembly.

What I would do is replace what is obvious and get a good alignment shop to make some adjustments. If they can get it to spec then you are set. If not then they can tell you what else needs to be done.
