Diesel been sitting three years
My 300D has been setting 3 years without running. I go out and turn it over once a month or so, but it will not fire up. It ran fine when it last ran. It has newer glow plugs in it. Is diesel fuel this old a problem? Will I need to drain/ clean the fuel tank and replace the fuel filters, or can I just put an additive in the old fuel? Thanks for any info on where to start with this. Mike

Yes, I would drain the tank and change the filter. You may have to bleed the lines to the injectors.
