95 Altima,engin shuts down
Engin shuts down while driving. After short time(5 to 10 minutes) it will start agin. I have replaced the alternator, but the problem continues. I'am thinking this may be related to the engins electronic brain?

RE: 95 Altima,engin shuts down
One way to find out might be a scan of the ECM to see if there are any codes to give us a clue and post them here. Another way would be to pop the hood to check for loss of spark or fuel when this happens. If you have over 150k miles (or near) on the car it may be the start of a failing fuel pump but there are no firm / fast answers without info from further diagnosis.

Keep us posted as you find out more and we'll see what we can do on this end.

Your 95 altima is dying because the distributor is full of oil. The bottom line is you need a new distributor. By one from nissan, dont go aftermarket-they are junk. Should be around $525.00 for the part
