Sad struts
i have a 97 acura 3.0 cl....the shocks/struts are bad. when i research this online i find all kinds of different parts.....how can i find out which ones i actually need...do i need to replace everything. my car makes a thumping noise when i brake or take off...

Are you sure it is the struts and not motor mounts? Bad motor mounts could do the same thing. As for struts, go to some of the parts house websites and see what they offer for your car. You can also call dealer and get part number and have parts house ross it over to give you the parts you need.
