I gotta say that was a LOW tech fix.... kinda like pullin' a tooth! Cool

That also tells us the system fails back to "manual" in a pinch. Smile

Yes, very low tech. Just the way I like it. What gave me the idea to try that approach was seeing the wiring diagram. It showed a normal headlight circuit with the Ambient Light Sensor sort of “Grafted” in. If the ambient light is to low the sensor just triggers the headlight relay. With it unplugged you’re just back to the regular system where “you” are responsible for turning your lights on when it gets dark. Sometimes the DRLs make you forget until you notice that you can’t see the speedometer anymore.
