Sad starting problem?
I have a 2005 scion xb, the car crank, no start, battery is good, check all electrical circuit, but no start, check code, at first the code was po 341 camshaft position sensor, when i take a neg. battery terminal. I check the code again, no code? what do you think the problem is, is it a ignition problem or fuel maybe be fuel pump went bad.Sad

RE: starting problem?
Sounds like you are getting ahead of yourself. It's great to check for codes and even clear them for a fresh look at things but you still need to check the basics. You say it will crank over so try checking for spark. If you have spark then add a bit of starting fluid to see if it will do anything.

The fact that you had cam position sensor code would make me go in that direction again once you know about spark and fuel. It may be a bad sensor or it may be there's no signal because the cam is not turning. (broken belt / chain?)

RE: starting problem?
Take out the air filter and give it a one second shot there while someone else cranks it over.

Do not use longer shots than about one second. Starting fluid can break things if used in excess.
