ignition switch problems

ignition switch problems
on a 94 acura we have to hold the ignition switch just right so the car will run, any ideas?

Replace the electrical part of the switch . Its a common problem .Usally caused by too much weight (KEY RING) sometimes it just wears out.

Thanks for the given solution i was also facing the same problem but as you described the solution to NATE 88 i had change the electrical parts of the switch,i got free from the problems.

Try jiggling the steering wheel from side to side while turning the key.

If that doesn't work, perhaps the key is too worn out so try your spare key.

If that doesn't work you may need to replace the lock portion of assembly.
