98 Elantra Lights
My right directional signal was flashing very quickly. I replaced the front and rear bulbs. Since then, they work fine until I turn on the headlights. When I do so, the right directional signal stays on, but the left directional is fine. The hazard lights also do not flash. When I turn the headlights off, both directionals and the hazards work as expected. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

RE: 98 Elantra Lights
Try removing the new bulbs and looking close to see if they are the same part number.

While they are out put one back at a time then try everything to see which one causes the problem.

Chances are that one installed backwards or something is shorting between the terminals. (wrong bulb?)

RE: 98 Elantra Lights
As Rupe said, check all bulbs for proper installation and make sure they are the correct bulbs. Thats the first place to start.
