contiuously running cooling fan
cooling fan on granny's 98vw beetle started running all the time even with no key in the ignition.Could stop it by pulling control module or disconnecting the batt.could not find any relay for the fan thought it might be sticking . Any help would be appreciated!!

On most cars the fans will run after the key is turned off so the system is "hot" all the time. It will run till the temp goes down normally. More than likely the temp sensor in the radiator side tank is NG.

Hint: for locating stuff you can go to http://www.autozone.com then create a free account. From there they have good repair tips and a "parts locator" section with diagrams and such to help you figure out where things are located on a particular car.
