I'm not fully understanding your question. Is this the timing belt or the accessory belt?

Neither one is easy and a timing belt on this car is not a job for the novice do-it-yourself type.

The serpentine belt broke. I changed it and the car will not start, this car ran fine before the belt broke. Thanks Rupe for your input, any other comment will be really helpful.

RE: 1994 audi s4
There are times when broken belt debris gets into places where it shouldn't be. I suggest you start with basics first so have a look to see if you have spark and fuel. (try a short spritz of starting fluid too)What I'm getting at is you have possibly disturbed a harness connection while working on the car.

It's also possible that a piece of the old belt has damaged the crank angle sensor or gotten into the timing cover area, in which case it will be difficult at best to figure it out unless you really get into things. This is why I suggest you start with the basics.

I am a huge fan of the audi s4, it is an exceptional blend of power, comfort, refinement, and style. It is a very big car and i like so much. The only reason why it my realistic dream car is.

RE: 1994 audi s4
I have a 2000 Audi A6 2.7T and recently the engine is not working right. after coming to a stop I will step on the gas and the gears wont get caught to turn the wheels. Instead the engine revs and the car rolls until the the wheels work. I am thinking this can be a transmission problem but I really dont know. Could it also be the timing belt?? please let me know if any of you encountered a problem like this before and if you solved it.

Audi is one of the major title in the car world and so you should also consider that this car can be expensive to insure. Check your insurance rates before buying one.

If money was not a problem, then I think you need to go for the expert to know what is really the problem.
