gauge lights not working
i have a 2001 mitsubishi diamante and the dash board lighs arent working! can anybody give me some insight on what the problem might be

If you mean the lights that come on with the head lights there's a fuse for that.

If the fuse checks ok then you are most likely to find the light switch is faulty. (this presumes you have checked that the dimmer control is turned up)

Locate the knob or dial that controls the brightness of the dashboard lights. If the control is not immediately evident, check your owner's manual. Make sure the brightness control is turned on. If it is and the lights aren't working, the problem may be a bad fuse. Check the fuse that controls the dashboard lights (see How to Fix a Faulty Car Fuse). Replace the fuse if necessary then call your mechanic if neither of these steps fixes your problem. I hope it works! Smile
