RE: 2008 Chrysler Town & Country Codes P0882 and P0957
Has the battery gone dead or did you un-hook or replace the battery recently? The code is telling you that the battery voltage to the transmission computer was below what was required. Here's an article that does a pretty good job of explaining it. It suggests having the code cleared and see if it comes back. http://engine-codes.com/p0882.html

Please let us know what you find or post back if you need more information.

RE: 2008 Chrysler Town & Country Codes P0882 and P0957
Thanks for getting back to me Garner....I disconnected the negative terminal on battery and left off for 15 minutes...When I re-connected the battery everything was normal, RPM's were good, and transmission shifted normally...I drove 160 miles last night and all was good.....Battery is original (6 + years), so I'm going to replace as a precaution....Thanks again!! This site is very helpful!!

Thanks for the follow-up. You should have the computer cleared with a scanner as unhooking the battery doesn't clear the codes. Depending on the transmission, you should also have the transmission computer "Quick Learned" any time that the battery is unhooked or goes dead.
